Not the best one from SG Since all of my pipes are dedicated to str8 VAs and EMs I decided to try out this in little savinelli apple, the only one dedicate to those casual aromatics I like. Tin aroma tends to lavender & tonquin bean. I cannot sense that much chocolatey and lavender aroma when it comes to puff it. I feel a little disturbed too from some "greasiness" I can feel on the flakes and smoking them: maybe it is because of the Burley that's inside of this blend. I think they could make it without any burley in it and the blend may shine a little more. I expected much more taste and body too, anyway. Maybe the cellaring went bad for this tin, maybe it'll work better with a different pipe...certainly this is the less impressive of SG flakes I've tried so far. Not bad at all but it doesn't drive me nuts. Plus a little technical point: "easy to rub out flake" may only mean "easier than other SG flakes"...cause this definitely isn't that easy to rub out. It's really easier to cubecut it or rough packing and smoking.
