One of the best! One of the best virginia tobaccos from McClelland to be sure! This one is very similar to Rattray's Old Gowrie in flavor and texture. Made up of a blend of different virginias, this blend has no perique added. An outstanding VA for the VA smoker and it ages very well. Medium in color and strength but wonderfully smooth with a pleasant room note. |

Robust Virginia This McClelland Virginia has the typical catsup tin aroma, however, this tin aroma does not transfer into taste. Surprisingly, this tobacco tastes like a robust strong Virginia but really it is not. I am very sensitive to vitamin N and this tobacco does not bother me in the least. This Virginia has taste second to none with a room note that is pleasing. It advertises an all day indoor smoke, however, I smoke outdoors and this fine tobacco is fine and I strongly give this tobacco a high thumbs up! |
