Blending Latakia


For those who like to spice up their pipe tobaccos with a bit of something extra, McClelland's Latakia is top tier. The tinned weed is a little higher quality than the bulk, but both are excellent.
McC's Latakia seems softer, rounder, smoother than say C&D's Latakia. (Which I also like, as it's smokier, more in your face taste.)
Both are good for tweeking blends that need a little something, and reviving English blends that are past their prime.
This is good to have around. Just wish Syrian were available ; )
