Great All day smoke

This is a great attempt for Mac Baren to enter the American style Aromatics.  It is nice and light with a clean honey undertone.  The light taste and body makes for a great all day work smoke.  The best part of this blend is that Mac Baren forgot to add the normal bite that accompanies most of the blends.

Very Nice

This is my first time trying Mac Baren tobacco, therefore I am no expert on the Mac Baren brand. I can say however, that I enjoyed the pleasantly mild smoke. I tried it in several different pipes including my meerschaum and the flavor stayed consistent throughout all the bowls. This is a great tobacco to smoke throughout the day. I found it partnered up well with a nice cup of fresh hot coffee or tea. I would recommend this to experienced pipe smoker looking for a very mild and relaxing smoke. Additionally, I would highly recommend this especially to the beginner, as it is mild with no bite. I feel this is an exceptional quality starter tobacco for the new pipe smoker.

A Decent Aromatic

This is a pouch from 2010.

The tin aroma of this blend is nice. I smell mostly vanilla with some hints of chocolate. The moisture level is quite wet and sticky and I would recommend some drying time.

At the start of the smoke I tasted a nice vanilla flavor. By the mid-bowl point the vanilla flavor died off quite a bit and it continuously faded as the bowl progressed. I never tasted any of the chocolate that I picked up in the tin aroma.

This is a decent blend. It smoked cool, dry, and didn't leave a goopy mess in the pipe. Although it never bit me, I felt that it could if it is pushed too hard. I Recommend it.

The Golden Seas Is Good

When I cracked a tin of this recently I was first greeted with a wonderful buttery smell. Couldn't wait to load up a bowl. It takes a light really well and burns nice and evenly. A bit hot in the bowl, as most MacB blends do, but no tonge bite. Throughout the smoke I noticed a butterscotch taste along with the vanilla. The flavour stayed pretty consistantly throughout the smoke. Definately a good aromatic and worth having a tin laying around.
