A surprisingly good aromatic

When I first heard Russ Oullette had made a blend that tasted like Egg Nog, my reaction was negative. Don't get me wrong, I like some aros, that just didn't seem like a good flavor for one. Nevertheless I ordered some and boy, was I surprised! The flavor was like egg nog with nutmeg, just the way I like it. I believe there is also some rum in this blend. The room note even smells like egg nog and will get you compliments. If you  like aro blends, you owe it to yourself to try this one!

A Great Holiday Aromatic Blend

The tin aroma of this blend is amazing and invokes images of the Holiday Season to my minds eye. I pick up on the rum, cinnamon, and nutmeg aromas, but I do not pick up on any of the vanilla in the tin aroma. It does not smell like Eggnog at all, but more of the aroma of spices that a lot of people are accustomed to smelling around the Christmas Holiday season. The moisture content is perfect for smoking right away.

Right from the start the flavors and aroma came right through. There is a baseline of sweetness that accompanies, what I will call, the Holiday flavors. What I mean by this is; I don't really pick up on any of the individual flavors from the description, but more of a harmonious combination of them all mixed together to create that wonderful and complex holiday flavor. I also pick up on a very light spiciness on my palate from the cinnamon. It is not at all unpleasant and I like it. This great, complex, and tasty flavor profile lasted from start all the way through to the end.

This blend is great and I love it! It is one of the best aromatics that I have ever smoked and is THE best Christmas/Holiday blend that I have smoked to date. This blend truly captures the essence of the Holiday Season in tin aroma, flavor, and room note.

This blend smokes cool, dry, didn't bite, and didn't leave a goopy mess in the pipe. When I say that it didn't bite, I mean it didn't even come close to biting, and I tried to get it to.This blend could be an all day smoke for some, but I prefer to save it and only smoke it during that special time of year from November to January.

If you are even remotely interested in aromatic blends whether as a change of pace or you are just looking for a good Holiday Blend, you will definitely want to give this blend a try.
