Brand: G. L. Pease
Blender: G. L. Pease Tin Description: Picadilly is a provocative blend of several Virginia tobaccos, delicately spiced with Latakia, and finished with Louisiana perique. The alluring flavour is revealed in layers throughout the smoke. It's lighter and sweeter than the others, but still rich, with hints of cinnamon and citrus. A perfect "English Breakfast Mixture." Country of Origin: USA Curing Group: Flue Cured Contents: Virginia, Latakia, Perique Cut: Ribbon Packaging: 2oz tin, 8oz tin |

For a all day smoke I always pick up a hint of coffee way in the back notes . But the blend smells of white raisins and and cinnamon from Celoyn . I also pick up a hint of citrus and white pepper . Upon opening the 8oz tin I was purposely pushing to the back of cellar for some time ,greeted me to the smell of ripe wine . The colors of the mixture let the smoker know that this is a complex blend . The blond and red Virginas are the base for the Louisiana perique .and Latakia . Upon lighting Iam remined of Embarcadero strong and peppery but the blend settles down . That is when the layers come forth and each puff gives a hint of the perique and Latakia far in the background . The sweetness of the Virginas are just right for the base for this blend .It is the perfect all day blend never overbearing and always changing . |
