A Solid Aromatic

The tin aroma of this blend is a heavy caramel and vanilla aroma with the caramel being more prominent that the vanilla. It smells quite good. The moisture level is good for smoking right away, but I suggest letting it dry a little bit first.

At the beginning of the smoke I could tell that this blend could bite if it is pushed too much, so I smoked it very slow. This blend has a good flavor to it, but I could not distinguish too much between the caramel and vanilla flavors. They melded together to form one flavor. Every once in awhile the vanilla flavor stepped out in front for a bit and then faded back into the mingled flavor of the two. The caramel flavor never stood out on its own.

Around mid-bowl, I started picking up on a natural tobacco sweetness that entered into the flavor profile. Even though the tobacco stepped forward a bit more, the flavors of the caramel and vanilla never departed from smoke. This flavor stayed through to the end.

This is a solid aromatic blend. It has a good flavor that lasts until the end without turning bitter or nasty tasting. It burns relatively cool and dry. It doesn't leave a goopy mess in the pipe, but it did have a slight bite every now and then and I could tell that it could be very bad if you are not careful. I have smoked this blend in both the tinned and the bulk version and it is the same exact blend in each.
