The C&D website states: "An aromatic for those who think they don’t
like aromatics." I agree fully. This is a deliciously sweet smoke with a
chocolate or carob-like flavor that adorns a dark fruit taste in the
realm of raisin, prune, currant, or dates, etc. However, the taste of
natural tobacco shines throughout the whole smoke without a hint of
anything artificial. Repeat: without a hint of anything artificial. A
very smooth and nicely integrated mosaic of flavors without bite, gurgle
or moisture problems. C&D lists Perique as one of the components.
I'm sure it's in there working its magic, but it doesn't intrude in any
way.
