Love Billy Budd

I love Billy Budd! This is my favorite English blend. Upon opening the tin  the aroma is reminiscent of a smoky campfire due to the Latakia. Billy Budd packs well and is an easy light. It burns cool with no tongue bite. Budd burns to the bottom leaving a clean white ash. It does burn quickly and you may find the bowl does not smoke as long as some other blends. The taste (imo) is smooth and wonderful the bit of cigar leaf adds a nice touch and the latakia is in the right proportion. a splendid blend, worthy of a try!

Totally satisfying

As with all C&D tobaccos, Billy Budd is an excellent full bodied blend that is ideal for the experienced smoker. The flavor never fades throughout the entire bowl and is a great blend for cigar smokers who may want to obtain a cigar flavor while enjoying the pleasure of a pipe. 

Billy Is My Budd

Oh Boy! This is possibly the best cigar to pipe blend ever. I have always enjoyed a good cigar and when I first started smoking a pipe I wanted to get my cigar fix as well. I looked for a while and when I found this it was great! The cigar to latakia mixture is perfect. The first thing you taste is latakia, but then after a second you get that nice rich taste of the maduro leaf. Stay clear of smoking this stuff around any who hates the smell of cigars, because you will probably run them off.
