A Good Aromatic Blend
This tobacco was new and fresh at the time of this review.
The tin aroma of this blend smells great! I smell vanilla, bourban, a light fruity aroma, and a light hint of coconut. The moisture level was perfect for smoking right out of the tin.
At the start of the smoke I tasted vanilla and an indescribable fruity flavor. A few puffs in, I started tasting very light hints of coconut. The flavors are not very strong and I had to focus quite a bit to distinguish them. Be careful when smoking this blend because the flavors are so subtle that you might find yourself over puffing trying to taste them and creating a hot smoke.
At mid-bowl, the flavors are still there, but they start to fade some. I really liked the coconut flavor that I tasted at the beginning, but they are gone at this point and I wish that they would have lasted longer. The finish is really nice and I tasted light hints of vanilla fruit on my palate.
The last 1/4 of the bowl, the flavors fell off completely and changed to a generic sweet flavor. The flavors on the finish also changed to a generic sweet flavor.
All in all this is a good aromatic that is made of high quality tobacco. It smoked dry, didn't bite, didn't turn bitter, and didn't leave a goopy mess in the pipe. It also has some pretty nice flavors that were distinguishable for the most part. I Recommend it.
