Outstanding Aromatic - One of the Best

This is a regular smoke in my rotation. I smoke this almost every day since purchasing - and I can only compare it to Rich's Grandpas.

When you smell the tobacco in the pouch - there is a definite chocolately smell that is enticing. The tobacco puts out a ton of smoke and the palate is hit with hints of cocoa, rum and anise.

Incredibly smooth with a definite burly taste that gives a little nuttiness to the flavor. The aroma is simply wonderful. This tobacco is simply a masterpiece - a perfect homage to 'Old Timer Blends.' If you are looking for a smoke to soothe the soul after hard day of work or if  you are lounging around the house - this is it! Highly recommended. I would give it more stars if I could.

Burley Heaven

From the moment I opened this bag I knew this was going to be a favorite. The bag aroma is a nutty high quality burley smell with cocoa and a hint of something else in the background, maybe Anise. It comes as a broken Kake, I put it in a big mixing bowl and just put my hands in and broke up the big chunks, then put it in qt mason jars. Packing it with a light hand with some pressure at the top works best for me. Took a char light immediately and developed into smoking heaven. It smokes cool with no bite, lots of tasty white smoke, a very pleasant taste all the way down to a dry grey ash. The room note is pleasant, with a chocolate note and I have received compliments from non-smokers when smoking this out in public. This tobacco goes great with your morning coffee, or with a evening Cognac.
