J.R.R. Tolkien's Favorite Smoke

The blend has a sweet fruit flavor blended Virginia and Burley.  It certainly has is "a mellow and cool smoke with flowery and fruity note."  According to his son Christopher Tolkein, this was one of J.R.R. Tolkien's favorite smokes.  Be advised that it has a significant nicotine level.  The room note is very agreeable.

Erinmore and more

Just goes to show Tolkien had good taste. I enjoy this tobacco more so than the erinmore mixture, I find it has a nice agreeable tin aroma and a cool pleasant smoke. if worked too hard it can be a bit of a mule but slowly sipping and savouring the taste is a pleasant way to spend a time while watching the rain.

Erinmore Flake

This tobacco is an OTC blend in Australia and can be bought at most corner stores. I've tried to like this blend but to no avail. I just dont like the fruity dressing which I find strong and over powering but the longer the tin was left unsmoked the drier the tobacco became and the topping weakened. Thankfully it dissappeared and what was left was a fairly decent virgina flake. Not to my taste diectly out of the tin but if we all had the same tastes and interests the world would be a boring place. Enjoy your smoking in good health :)
