When I bought my first pipe, many moons ago,my tobacconist recommended this stuff because I was a hardend golden Virginia roll up smoker and boy am I glad he did. This tobacco is the grown up,well travelled and worldly wise big brother of said GV.
On opening a new tin you are met by a delicious aroma of tobacco with a rich plumby note from the delicate casing that is in no way alarming, and on smoking I think you would be hard pushed to discribe it as an aromatic.
The flavour is pure nutty Virginia goodness and the quality of leaf and the moisture content are as with all the Dunhill baccys I've smoked, impeccable. It's not the most complex tobacco I've ever tried but it is an awesome daytime/work smoke. Can be puffed like a train with no bite at all.The only down side is that it burns a little fast, and its so delicious,a tin soon disappears and here in the UK its a little expensive.
