Berry Good is right!

First I am smoking this in a Dr. Grabow Freehand no filter.

I received this blend a few days ago and just couldn;t wait to try it.  So while I was jarring about 10 ounces for later consumption I figured I would give it a go.  It was purchased as bulk and straight out of the bag was to me a great moisture level for packing and lighting.  The "tin note" has a very soft berry flavor and where others seemed to find vanilla I can not.

The initial charring light was very berryful and almost to the point of over the edge.  After the tamp and relight though it was very soft and the burley made it's presence known.  The berry flavor is present all the way through the bowl and never wavers for an instant.  Still I can not find the vanilla flavor that is said to be in there, but I also don't mind it not being there.  The Burley in this blend makes a great stand and adds a wonderful and complex twist to what could have been a one sided blend.

I find this blend to be a keeper in the rotation when I want something outside of the English realm of things.  This would make a wonderful all day smoke and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good Aro with no bite.
